The Academy of Educators in collaboration with the Medical Education Research Unit (MERU) is offering an Implementation & Dissemination in Education Scholarship certificate course. This is a certificate course for educators who have developed a proposal for an education scholarship project/research study. The proposal could have been developed in the previously-offered Introduction to Methods in Education Scholarship or Qualitative Research Methods for Education Scholarship courses, or you may have developed the proposal independently. The course will equip educators to complete and revise IRB applications, manage projects, and disseminate study results (write abstracts, prepare posters and oral presentations, identify relevant journals that publish education studies, and prepare manuscripts). The course is eight weeks long, two hours per week via Zoom with independent work required in between meetings.
