Effective Teaching Series: Instruction & Assessment

Enhance your teaching skills with the Fall 2025 Effective Teaching Series. This upcoming collection of faculty development sessions is designed to provide you with practical techniques and strategies. Here’s what you can look forward to at each of the in-person workshops:

Building Inclusive Environments for Learners with Disabilities (BUILD) Workshop Series

Description: BUILD offers health professions faculty the knowledge, skills, and resources to understand the barriers facing people and learners with disabilities and to create more inclusive didactic and clinical learning environments. Topics addressed in this 3-session series include the history and different models of disability, barriers and challenges presented by ableism, stigma in community and educational settings, and practical strategies for educators to implement in their teaching.
